Prince of Kolkata or The great Indian Tiger!
Its easy to swim with the tide but it needs real caliber to move against them and if you are able to do so... you are a real hero.Thats what our DADA is.

Just a little flash back... October,2005. Dada was dropped from Indian team after Zimbabwe tour due to fitness reason. But,dada scored century in next Ranji trophy matche to prove his fitness. But that was not enough to give him a place in Indian team.Only recalled for test team. But after pakistan series that option was also removed. All time freat Indian cricket-captain dropped in each version of international cricket. Many ex-crickers had totally written off Sourav. But Sourav is sourav.11 months...can you believe? he was out of international cricket. Thanks to Kiran More,Greg Chappel and “Mr Gentleman” Rahul Dravid. But,you know truth triumphs in the long run.Form is temporary and quality is permanant. And Dada knew that.Winning in home turf and winning in overseas are two extreme diverse scenario. So,the real potential of Dravid and Co. came into picture soon.Dada called back as soon as “poor” Kiran More was replaced by Dilip Vengsarkar as Chairman of Selection Committee.Dada returned in style at South Africa series. And scored highest run amongst Indian player there. And the rest is history.

Yesterday when Dada scored his maiden double century,it was really a great emotional moment for us to whom dada really means a lot. What a comeback! What a mental strength. You can find a galaxy of cricketers in the history of this game, but you will hardly find an example of this kind of fight back.Bengalees are a little more emotional,I agree. But why not to do so if we have such a “Kohinoor” to proud of?

Please forgive me if I sound regional...but again the Bengali sentiment taking over..absloutely agree with you regarding Sourav’s comeback being a spectacle of sheer joy for all of us who silently suffered when critics allover India thrashed him and the media was hellbent of making him retire!
Dada..well done!!
